ClearLeverage
At ClearLeverage, our mission is to help law firms strategically grow and expand into new practice areas and new markets.
Marketing and Business Development Search
The Company was created in 2001 to serve the needs of law firms in identifying and hiring leading marketing and business development professionals. Using a team approach during the search process, ClearLeverage gains a thorough understanding of a firm’s hiring needs, accesses its national network of marketing and business development professionals, and provides critical insight into each candidate to allow the firm to make the best hiring decision. Whether adding a Chief Marketing Officer to the firm’s management team, hiring an experienced professional services sales executive or engaging a contract consultant with a particular marketing expertise, ClearLeverage has helped many law firms across the country make the right choice.
Partner Level Attorney Search
In addition to growing through business development, acquiring partner level talent with established client relationships and existing business in many cases is a strategy necessary for growth in key markets and office locations. From 1991 until its sale in 2000, Jill and Jim Cochran owned and operated the largest legal search and staffing company in Central Texas. In today’s competitive world for recruiting legal talent, having the right search and consulting team on your side can make the difference between a successful hire or a lost opportunity. At the request of many of its existing clients, in 2005 ClearLeverage added strategic partner level search to its service offerings and has completed a number of high profile acquisitions in recent years. Understanding the business of law is one or our strengths, and recruiting and hiring attorneys that can help a firm grow is more important than ever.
Consulting and Coaching
When it comes to business development consulting and coaching, we like to say Clarity is Power. In our experience, many attorneys and their firms lack focus in their business development process and effort. One of the key questions we ask attorneys is what is their process for identifying an opportunity and then how do they turn that opportunity into an engagement. Without a clear understanding of the steps in a defined process, most attorneys cannot consistently turn prospects into clients. Since 2005, we have consulted with firms to develop processes and programs to support business development, and then train and coach individual attorneys to grow their practices and create lasting client relationships.
